Much of the day-to-day operations of a station are a mystery to me. I bought the Operating Manual fro ARRL and it is clearing away the mist for me. I used to belong to (in that I paid dues) a local Radio Club. But I didn't learn much there. If I asked pointed questions I got mixed results (Much like here I suppose) When your a new-be it's hard to even know what questions to ask... So I stopped going. Great solution, huh? I started reading about NETS. NOW I can see what they can be all about. But as a tech, I cannot participate in them (and as an appartment deweller). So we'll chug along and learn as we go. I am slowly absorbing the code. Even if it's not a requirement, I can see it's value. 73's .... Amateur Radio is a contact sport! --- MultiMail/Win32 v0.46 .
