I just happened to catch Andromeda after having not watched the show in
about 2 years, and I wonder if anyone can bring me up to speed.

1) When and how did Beka become the "matriach"?

2) Trance is a sun?

3) Where did the other AI come from?

4) Had the show actually been cancelled?

5) Where did Rodde (sp?) come from?

I am thinking about maybe getting the series on DVD, but I want to know
if it is worth my effort now.  It seems the show really took a turn for
the worst after I stopped watching.
