Perhaps the BBS software does not allow for this many cross-posts, but
using my editor (GoldED+) I can do the very same thing and cross-post
this message to every echo I have in the readers config. Wanna see?

Please point me to the ELISTxx.ZIP file that contains these rules. I
would like to examine them.

He did make the most appropriate decisions. He had the spammer lose his
ISP and closed down the NNTP portion of his BBS and is awaiting a fix
from the author (/that's/ the sad part).
