don't switch topics on me... the above is all threaded back to janis' stuff 
about why she switched matt's file feed... the bbs software thrashed about and 
put stuff in the wrong areas and mail got sent to the wrong nodes (or something 
like that) as she reported to the author... he didn't have any explanation, 
either...
