This has happened and it did the last time he had a major issue with his system 
while away on TDY.

and why pray tell are you worried about my inquiries, is that Peacock 
personality revealing itself again, are you feeling a uncontrollable urge to 
strut? If you feel I need your permission to use my mail reader to write 
message, ask simple questions you are sorely mistaken, then again thats nothing 
new.

Other sysops who have asked:

"Ross did you know Todds FTP servers are down, do you know if his links have 
been contacted?"

I can say, I have checked with and informed his peers.

Now why is this so bad?

I never said contrary.. I did say my original netmail went unanswered and one 
of them set the record straight in here.

Fellow sysops.. Of course the gist of your message implies to write them folk 
off, it may very well be the case that many of them arent reachable or might 
not even be aware of an issue? I received EMAIL from one of his feeds last 
night, it took him a week to notice. But you suggest everyone sits back and 
do/advocate nothing, I thought you were a team player son?

Instead of making me the issue, why dont you look at the whole story, after all 
I didnt cause his server to lose logon info.
