No, the reason is actually a lot simpler. All the FDNs that are even active at all outside of DDS (and that's been slow) are filegate FDNs Todd. It's kind of joke to continue to use the term filebone when the filebone distribution has been dead for so long. If I hadn't continued to funnel files into the filebone, the filebone would have been gone before this. Larry James recognized this as well.. and asked me a couple of times to take over the filebone. >I have never seen a need for 2 people are hardly hatching > any files anymore anyway. You mean two distributions? Yep, me too. Especially when one only imports from the other . > I have had to go to other sources to get good > files the traffic is pathetic. Well now you see the problem.. people used to care about the fdns they created and would take the time to actually contact authors, find files, etc. Granted there are still a good number of us that do this, but no where near the number that used to do it. You could actually help out by funnelling the files you find to my system or to the appropriate coordinator, if the distribution rights of the files would not preclude this, and if they'd be of interest to Fido people.
