JY> .....All of which got me only one response from a Z1B member, via netmail. That member asks: "And what REC or Z1B member did you request the addition of this echo from?" ....or words to that effect. Which was not the point; I already carry the echoes so I don't have to request addition from anyone. The point was that it appears to me that no one in the Z1B is concerned enough with this end of the echomail-moving business to acommodate the moderators who are working to provide content for the enjoyment of the members of FidoNet. But then, as there seems to be little interest from your downlinks in adding new and possibly productive echoes, maybe it doesn't matter, perhaps you're playing to an empty house. This is a negative message that you're sending to the moderators: "Don't bother us with your requests, we aren't interested in your echo personally and nobody's reading the mail we distribute anyway." And, too, maybe it would be too much to expect for anyone to see that the above-quoted message could be construed as a thinly-veiled request for addition, huh? No matter, the request period has expired for them now and the opportunity is gone. Hopefully, someone in your organization will wake up and respond/react to these requests real soon. --- UNREG UNREG * Origin: (1:3613/1275.1) .
