Apparently Dale is of a school of thought that has long since concluded
(on what many feel is precious little evidence, of course) that no one
other than himself knows what's good for them so by god he's going to make
sure they do things "the right way"  despite themselves.

He tried that on the sysops of his region just this spring, especially
Andrea. And got VERY thoroughly trounced by nearly everybody.
