In the case of the weekly nodelist or nodediff generation, I happen
to think that the current method (which has been in place almost as
long as I've been in Fidonet) is far superior to that described in P4.

I am a firm believer in redundancy.

Of course, that, like anything else, can have it's occasional downsides.
