This has been going on for _several_ years now, why is this a problem for you 
now?

Remember "several years" and Janis has been the ZC since January, so I will 
leave you to do the math.

A little more redundancy is added as opposed to relying on one individual for 
one nodediff, especially since this individual happens to be on a extended 
business trip and if his system goes down?

Remember the current methodolgy is in place because we went for a time without 
an IC and the current methodology was never abandoned.
