Dale you are as wet behind the ears on all this that you will never know. Janis is compiling the nodediff the same way Moufarrege was. David Moufarrege was compiling the nodediff the same way Satti was.. Each ZC sends the other 5 ZC's their Zone Segment Each ZC receives a regional seg from their RC's. ZC# Compiles DIFF from received Segs === ================================ 1 RSEGS, Z2-6 Segs 2 RSEGS, Z1 seg, Z3-6 segs 3 RSEGS, Z1-2 segs, Z4-6 segs 4 RSEGS, Z1-3 segs, Z5-6 segs 5 RSEGS, Z1-4 segs, Z6 seg 6 RSEGS, Z1-5 segs This is along the same principle as how I compile the r18 segment from all received and/or on file net segments, except I aint producing a difference file. EACH ZC is producing a nodediff for their own zones based on the data they receive as I outlined above. This is a practice they have imbibed in AND have _NOT_ abandoned since the time when we didnt have a IC which was prior to Satti. Personally it adds a helluva lot more redundancy to the whole process than one individual being responsible for all zones. == Ross http://www.the-estar.com:8080 ross@the-estar.com or rcassell@home.com ICQ = 5305939 ....
