Subj : Your meshing To : Dale Ross From : Ross Cassell Date : Sat May 19 2001 01:30 am Hello Dale! 18 May 01 20:03, you wrote to me: DR> So it looks like Ross is in fact filtering and sideling mail. Nice try, I never denied still running NOBOGUS to catch DUPE LOOPS, mainly the forcedpath variety, it is an indication that someone has 2 links and aint keeping them straight, I can go back and show you the messages I wrote stating that I do this... One was very recent.. DR> WCCODE is sent to both 10/345 AND 106/1. Sounds like you sidelined XPATH: 226/0 600 379/1 10/345 106/1 Explain this 10/345 should not be following your node number if you were properly meshed. >> MEMORIES Same issue as the OS2 one outlined above. >> >> Echomail flow from 379/1 or 10/345 on its way to me should >> immediately be followed by 106/1. DR> Same thing, it is sent to both 106/1 and 10/345. XPATH: 135/382 10/345 379/1 106/1 and Todd is/was not properly meshed here. >> Dale, you may have caught this already, if not here you are.. :) DR> No there is nothing for me to catch. It looks like you caught and DR> sidelined mail. Not at all, everything passed as it should, dont confuse when I notified you as to when it passes, system sends me a netmail everytime I get one of these.. === Cut === @echo off d: cd\argus\in\bogus\eco if exist *.eco echo .>d:\argus\postit\eco.flg if exist *.eco ren *.eco *.%_dow% cd\argus\postit if exist eco.flg postit -bm1 -net -md:\argus\postit\bogus.msg -sTrap Detected -a1 -o1 -d1:18/500 -tRoss Cassell -fThe Eastern Star if exist eco.flg del eco.flg cd\argus === Cut === The above is run every 15 minutes by unisched. Nice try, nice red herring, the path lines dont lie and a couple echoes either you and Todd werent passing to Steve or Steve isnt or wasnt setup to receive those echoes from you? DR> We already know that Ross is a hypocrite, now let us see if Roy, DR> Michael and Andrea are hypocrites. Or will we hear from them about DR> Ross Cassell's filtering of mail. How am I a hypocrite, I have stated over and over how NOBOGUS is a great dupe loop catcher and it helps to make sure a mesh is working ok. For your information, I only recently forcedpath you and Todd, because seemingly I would export mail to 3:774/605 and eventually the messages come back around again and re-enter the zone from z2 via Todd. However I politely notified you and Steve/Todd in netmail, if I catch any other traps of this nature, I'll do it in here as far as notifying you, I'll continue to let Steve know privately. Its common knowledge that you dont understand how meshing works anyway, as evidenced last fall when yourself linked to me, felt that linking into 106/1 would constitute a mesh, even though at that time 106/1 wasnt linked to me. == Ross http://www.the-estar.com:8080 ross@the-estar.com or rcassell@home.com ICQ = 5305939 ....
