Please check your meshing on the following echoes, I have had Nobogus forcedpath traps on the following: Tag Problem === ======= OS2 10/345 not passing to 106/1 Instead, passing to 379/1, who in turn passes to 106/1, then to me. WCCODE 379/1 not passing to 106/1 Instead, passing to 10/345, who in turn passes to 106/1, then to me. MEMORIES Same issue as the OS2 one outlined above. Echomail flow from 379/1 or 10/345 on its way to me should immediately be followed by 106/1. Dale, you may have caught this already, if not here you are.. :) == Ross http://www.the-estar.com:8080 ross@the-estar.com or rcassell@home.com ICQ = 5305939 .... Since Dale was all proud of himself by thinking he "got me" over detecting an irregularity with the propogation of message echoes in his distro system, above is the netmail I sent him, Steve and Todd. It was informative, polite and tactful. Having seen comments from others that we ought to work together and try to solve problems, I thought that was what I was doing by informing the 3 of them that a problem existed. A problem that will result in dupes and not might result in dupes. Links not keeping their feeds straight is worse than taking crystal balls to MSGIDS. What will be dupes is not the same as what might be dupes. Aside from that, one would think Dale would have wanted to be informed of a problem, no matter its severity or triviality. Had Dale used a similiar angle of "tact" when all this began, he would not have faced the criticism he has faced over the past couple months. It appears that while Dale has been devising neat and stricter traps to determine what might be dupes, he isnt using nobogus for what it does best and most reliably. That is to detect DUPE LOOPS and problems that occur in a meshed topology, Had Dale used these commands: Forcedpath = 106/1 Forcedpath = 10/345 Had he been doing this, he would have caught the OS2 and MEMORIES issues. == Ross http://www.the-estar.com:8080 ross@the-estar.com or rcassell@home.com ICQ = 5305939 ....
