What was the progression of this thread? Who was the first to 'correct' another on the issue of listing a new member? Once, just once, I'd like you to support one of your 'black helicopter' theories about R12 behaviour. Y'know - with facts. Instead, you contribute further to the FUD, lies, and arguments. Why /ARE/ you involved? Did you offer anything constructive, or are you just here for argument's sake? What is your part in this, other than to contribute the same familiar trite quips to the conversation? Thus far, you've offered three messages to the thread - two of them specifically attacking me. Your first message opened with a blaspheme of a certain deity. In your first paragraph, you attacked my behaviour in the situation. In your second, you moved on to capitalized sentences condemning the mere suggestion that the node be listed outside of Florida. Your third was another attack on me, and this time broadened to include R12 in general. It was in this paragraph where you first introduced (to this thread) your empirical evidence regarding other FTNs. You told us "All" that "/none/ of the members in those networks give a damn where any particular node is listed" - quite a sweeping generalization. Your last paragraph then went on to beg that we allow the new node to tell us what he wants. Quite the contradiction, since apparently nobody outside of "his" region (R18) is permitted to offer him anything until he's 'properly' listed. (Specifically myself). Your next message was a response to Darrell, further condemning my offer to feed the node - explaining that I "[hopped] up and down screaming "THIS ONE'S MINE!!"" after being told that the node wasn't "in" my net. Next, you went on to claim that I made the issue political (got that thread progression handy?) and told Darrell how I should phrase my listing/feed offers. You explained that I went out of my way to "slam" others for "simply pointing out to him where his area lies in the nodelist". I've just reviewed every single message I've written to date on the subject, and all I can see is myself explaining my motives. I'd love for you to point out this alledged "slam" I've made of others - unless you consider my comment about eliminating middle-men a "slam", in which case I believe you're violating one of the main tenets of the policy you so vehemently support. Your third posting (again to "All") re-hashed your analogy of other FTNs. You again made a sweeping generalization of all members in small FTNs, and eventually went on to make a suppositional claim about Tom Jennings' motives and (administrative) behaviour during the beginnings of FidoNet, and made a further claim of how Tom "changed" the very method you hypothesized. From there, you skipped to the age-old claim of "Jealousy over where a node is to be listed" - and made sure to pay lip service to "incriminations and conspiracy theories and plain old insults". I have yet to see any conspiracy theories. As for insults, well, there may have been some veiled insults along the way, but they certainly haven't come from my direction (as you've intimated in your previous postings). Threats I have seen - but that's another matter entirely. I'm sure you neglected to mention it quite accidentally. After all, material oppositional to your case against R12 (Stewart Honsberger) would never be omitted intentionally, now would it? I ask again - what is your purpose in this discussion?
