Been here before, done this before, everybody worked JY> up a sweat, nobody got a t-shirt. Therefore it seems best to inform this sysop and let him decide where he wants to be listed. If he wants to be listed geographically, that's fine. If he wants to be listed elsewhere for some reason I'm all for that too. If he doesn't care where he is listed then let his geographic location be his default listing. But let's not force him to be listed where he may not want to be. Let's not tell him that he MUST be listed here or there for reasons that are not in his, or Fidonet's, best interests. Surely it's time to let go of these petty regional jealousies and bruised egos. Let's present him with his options and let him decide. No force, no coercion, no bad-mouthing other region's sysops or mail moving capabilities, no politics. This approach seems to work well for us, I don't see why it wouldn't work equally well for others. If he doesn't want to be listed geographically, what sense does it make for the Z1C to attempt to force this chap to be so listed? I've yet to hear a good reason from anyone for this and the Z1C has refused to answer the question. Small wonder nobody got a t-shirt. :) BTW, do you know what happened to the last sysop the N229C sent along to, I believe it was, Andrea Santos, for geographic reasons? Andrea?
