How is that Net229 DS> sysop complicating the situation? How is it that a simple request is immediately complicated by responses stemming for assumptions made by references that "might" indicate something but are most likely interpreted to mean what is desired by the interpreter? Net 229 is mentioned. That "must" mean that he wants to be in Net 229? He lives in Florida. That "must" mean that he wants a node number in Region 18. He mentioned Vera Beach. That "must" mean he wants to be in a Net in Florida. He sent the message from the Synchronet BBS author's BBS. That "must" mean that he want to be in a net somewhere that is only Synchronet BBS. The BBS he accessed to send the message is in California. That "must" mean that he wants to be in Region 10. Can everyone say "ASS U ME"?? So, let's get him in Net 229 and Region 10 and Region 18 with a net in Florida and California that are all Synchronet BBS only. The man asked for help. I pointed him to the Region where he lives, Stewart offered a feed, Ross called his BBS and sent a message to him (I assume, offering to list him) and then everyone "crashed through the wall and into the street. Kicking and gouging in the mud and the blood and the beer" -Johnny Cash, "A Boy Named Sue". Dear God, help this hobby. For the last few weeks, this echo has been dead as a door nail. Then one message for help and ...... Frank http://texoma.net/~flv http://bise.tzo.com/r19 .... Desperation is a highly emotional state of mind. -- Kirk --- PPoint 3.01 * Origin: Holy Cow!
