FWIW: i've an APC 1000VA unit here that's feeding five (5) machines... all with monitors, speakers, etc... by itself, it gives about 10 to 15 minutes of power when commercial power disappears... however, this unit has been "slightly" modified and has several additional batteries attached to in on the outside... the unit has been tested to several hours without commercial power... only needs more batteries to provide longer uptime... just have to watch the charging... some of the batteries are removed from time to time for cycling and refreshing... )\/(ark * Origin: (1:3634/12) .
