This is the Z1_ROUTING echo.

A. Purpose:
This echo facilitates transporting of routing information to the Zone Echomail
Coordinator so that it may be imported into the Zone 1 Route List
(ROUTELST.XXX). This file is released weekly as a text file in the file echo
Z1_REC.
 
B. Routing information is to be posted by Network Coordinators, Regional
Echomail Coordinators, or other persons authorized by your Regional Coordinator
or Network Coordinator.
 
C. Files:
The Z1_REC file echo may be picked up from your normal file feed, or you can
ask for a link via binkp or ftp from 1:2320/38 if you like.  The zone 1 Route
List is also available via file request at 1:2320/38, and also
 
ftp.filegate.net/pub/z1_rec/ROUTELST.???
 
www.filegate.net/z1_rec/ROUTELST.???
 
where ??? is the current week number corresponding to the week's nodediff
filename extension.
 
D. Traffic allowed in this echo:
 1= Route link information as specified above
 2= Corrections to the route list
 3= Discussion of 1 and 2 above as it pertains to helping to keep the route
    list accurate and useful.
 
E. Traffic not allowed in this echo:
 1= To keep confusion down to a minimum here, Route lists other than the Zone
    1 Route List will not be discussed here. REC submitted regional routing
    charts may be discussed as to how they are to be incorporated into the main
    routing chart.
 2= Other routing issues such as the RVIA, MRVIA, DRVIA flags should not be
    discussed here.
 3= Flaming any person is not allowed.
 
F. Concerning Chatter in the echo:
A minimum of chatter between folks is ok here, but please do not flood the echo
with such talk so that it becomes difficult for the ZEC to easily note and
verify routing information.  If you do start a thread or participate in one
which is not in the "allowed" list above, please immediately honor the
moderators requests to drop the thread and take it elsewhere.
 
G. Suggestions:
Leave your politics at door please.  We all want routing information to be
accurate so that ERN in Fidonet will be as good as it can be.
 
H. If you feel that the route list is not reflecting information that your
situation requires, please post a message to the ZEC explaining your situation
in detail so that the ZEC will be able to help you.
 
I. The moderators of this echo will be curteous to you.  We ask that you be
curteous as well.
 
J. Problems:
If you cannot abide by the rules in this echo, you will be given 3 warnings
before the moderators ask you to leave.  You will then be asked to send your
routing information via netmail or e-mail.
 
Thank you for your help in keeping the route list accurate.
