IMHO, that designation has caused more far trouble than it
solves. It denegrates hubs like Dave Nemeth, Jack Yates, Steve
Monteith, Joe Davis, and that ilk by creating an inflated
perception of superiority for those hubs to whom the label is
attached.

Why can't we just have "hubs"? Why deliberately create a lord-serf
type of class difference?
