I knew you'd deny it, but thanks for answering. You were aware that there was a 
Z1C election at the time.

Please don't speak to what I know, Bob, you're not qualified. As to 
distributing the Reg12 echo, the very least you should have done was ask. What 
you did is akin to my taking, reading and distributing private mail from your 
residential mailbox without your knowledge or permission and then upon 
discovery stating "Well, you didn't say I couldn't".

It appears to be you that refuses to admit that what you did certainly did have 
political ramifications since there was a Z1C election in progress. I suspect 
what you did was politically motivated by you and perhaps others. 
To see you now state that you have tried to remove politics from echomail 
distribution certainly makes one wonder who the liar is. It also further taints 
what was already a rather dubious Z1C election. You're a fine example of 
something that is wrong with Fidonet.
