Subj : ERRORS in Route List! To : Dale Ross From : Jack Yates Date : Sun May 13 2001 03:37 pm DR> I know that as soon as you see a post from me your fingers get a DR> little twitchy and you have to find something to attack. Bull! Look back at the posts you've made without any comment from me. DR> Just thought DR> I'd let you know that your volleys were way off target. D'hel they were... DR>>> Please, this is not a regional thing. There are a few sysops in DR>>> this region (R18) that feel like business in other regions is DR>>> their business. But remember, this is not a regional thing it is DR>>> a personal thing. This node and I think most nodes in this Net DR>>> could care less what you do in your region UNLESS it somehow DR>>> causes us a technical problem. Is there some reason this causes DR>>> me a technical problem that I am not aware of? >> >> Do you now speak for R18, Dale? DR> What did I say? There are a _few_ sysops in R18. Did I say I speak for DR> R18? No. So, which group am I in? The group of the few that feel that the business of other regions is their business, or the group that don't care so long as it doesn't cause us a technical problem? Who is "us" who couldn't care less unless it was a technical problem? Is everyone in R18 who isn't like me, like you? Why can't someone be concerned about something other than technical problems? If I'm in the former group, am I permitted to be concerned about technical probnlems? What you are doing here is applying a conclusion that because you are only concerned with technical issues, then that's all that matters and so anyone other than a few who speak out otherwise could not possibly be concerned with anything else. You proposed an either-or situation and, one way or the other, you have spoken for me and I'm not amused. DR> Oh my. Did you sleep late today and you were still a little sleepy DR> when you read my post? Nope. I read it, then answered it some time later. DR> Perhaps you saw my name in the "FROM:" field DR> and your blood pressure went up just a little and thus you didn't DR> read DR> what I wrote clearly? Don't grace yourself with delusions of grandeur; Renee O'Connor can raise my blood pressure; you don't qualify. --- * Origin: (1:3613/1275) .
