Tell me ... what should it matter in an ION system?  What is it that matters? 
Just because we are offering to do something to recruit nodes into FidoNet that 
others are not doing, we are the bad guys for not "geographically locating" 
nodes.  In an ION system, geography has little to do with it.  We took 
initiative and did something about providing resources for ION's to join. We 
created the help system for new sysops to understand the technology that allows 
them to join their Telnet Only BBSes to FidoNet. Just because of that we are 
being ostracized?  I don't get it.

Is it something to do with jealousy?  Because that's they way it looks from my 
perspective.
