No he isn't. And he wasn't jumped on because of the name of the routing file.

I route to the node level for nodes that connect here. I will route to the Node 
level if given a good reason to do so. Who knows, that will probably change in 
the future.

I will not speak for John. This would be one of those "good" reasons to add 
routing to the node level.
