Subj : ERRORS in Route List! To : ROSS CASSELL From : BOBBY QUEEN Date : Tue May 08 2001 10:38 am Yo Ross! In a note to Lesley-dee Dylan on <05/08/2001> Ross Cassell wrote: RC> Hello Lesley-Dee! Of course this is par for the RC> course, surprisingly you have him wrapped around your little finger. First I said that Dee asked me to ELIST EQUUS! Dee DID NOT ask me to elist Z1ROUTING. So that knocks your theory down. In fact the person that asked me to elist Z1ROUTING did so annonymously. I have since found out who the person was but it wasn't Dee! RC> Your committee is you, Bobby and maybe Carl. Maybe you wish the committee was those 3. :) You will never know exactly who is on the committee unless they decide in the future to let themselves be known. RC> If you are not on the committee, I doubt you would have asked for an echo RC> to be boned. Like I said she asked for EQUUS to be boned and that was a year or so ago. She later asked for it to be deleted and now Roy Witt holds that listing. Or do you not keep copies of your Netmails? Bobby only posts messages sent to him by the committee nothing more. If I had a hand in the actual routelist it would have some changes made in it but I don't! RC> Since you are on the committee: Ross you know what you do when you make ASSUMPTIONS! I want to know how RC> in the holy hell Bobby ever extrapolated Bennie into this picture? RC> Venturing to guess since Bobby is using echomail messages as source data RC> I bet you a dollar to a donut that Bobby read a seenby line, thinking it RC> was a pathline. Bobby has already told you that he DOES NOT produce the list and all I do is pass along questions and information from the committee itself! RC> Bottom line is here Dee, Bobby's list is full of errors and he should not RC> be parading about over what he perceives to be someone elses errors, when RC> his own handiwork is a joke. You can keep calling it Bobby's list but Bobby didn't even get a copy of it until this past weeks list. It looks like I would have had a copy if I had been producing it. RC> ECHOMAIL messages as source data, listing node level routing... RC> too much ambiguity there, honestly there is, some of these routes are RC> guesses, the route he used for Paul Kerr 18/201 was incorrect, a logical RC> guess, but nonetheless incorrect. I also didnt go further down that list RC> than net 105 other than to comment on the node level routing.. RC> Bobby will soon find out that source data is the key here and he cant RC> guess at it.. Ross forget it. If you think I'm doing the actual list then keep on thinking that. That way the real people doing it can stay out of the spotlight. RC> Those stoopid RVIA flags aint gonna be reliable if not in widespread RC> usage, and I know of a couple NC's who will tell me to GFMS if I ask or RC> tell them to use them. Unreliable source data plagued Foxy's predecessor, RC> but YOU knew that. And I guess that you honestly believe that I'm smart enough to be doing the ERN Routelist? All I'm doing is contacting folks about errors in the other list or asking folks about their feeds. And the ERN committee is finding DEFINATE errors in Foxy's list whether you want to admit it or not. Sure they may be making mistakes also but like I pointed out in my message yesterday if Foxy would agree to work with the ERN folks then between us we could make a route list that had almost NO ERRORS. But with you trying to throw up smoke screens to protect Foxy and Foxy hiding in her burrow then things will never get fixed!
