Subj : ERRORS in Route List! To : Bobby Queen From : Ross Cassell Date : Mon May 07 2001 10:49 am Hello Bobby! 07 May 01 14:48, you wrote to FOXY FERGUSON: BQ> Foxy we at the ERN Route List Committee have found the following 22 BQ> errors that were easy to spot in your Route List. Wow boy I bet you are proud of yourself, you must have eaten the two raisins it now takes to fill up your belly and mosied on up to your computer and are all proud of yourself, how is the bad back? Now tell me what a echo hijacker like yourself has to do with a route list, you a big time router or have you lost confidence that your uplink wont be able to find you? Well that puts you and Dee in the spotlight, got your new list here, lemme go pick it apart fer ya. ; Zone Gates, Independents, Admin, and Help Nodes ; ;FF R Z Net Node Route Matrix Hub Updated Source A : ;============================================================================= ; 18 1:1/1 1:360/5 1:18/500 20010408 1/1 is the ZEC, her primary aka in 361/1, where in d'hel do you get off appointing Bennie Hutto as the ZEC??? ; Regional Independent Feeds ; ;FF R Z Net Node Route Matrix Hub Updated Source : ;============================================================================= ; P 18 1:18/140 P 18 1:18/201 A. Except for Direct linkages HUBS do not route to the node level. B. Both these nodes would default to me and feed from me. While 18/201 has a 3634 node number, he specifically requested to keep the RIN designation in addition to the feed. 1:18/140 has had a link here since about a month prior to 396/1 shutdown, he pulls the full load, its also a logical route for him. All RIN ERN defaults to their RC except at the point of their direct uplink. Roy Witts ERN technically defaults to his RC, Brenda, although any that would originate here for him or pass through here meant for him, would channel to him via his link here with me, anywhere else and it gets channeled by the hubs the default method to the respective RC, now in some cases like mine if I have a RIN that feeds elsewhere and I have a link to his uplink, I have no issue with forwarding his mail to his uplink, providing his uplink doesnt bounce it back. Where in the hell is 18/0 in the regional indep section? Do you have a clue on how routing works Bobby, I dont think you do, you want folk to route down to the node level, route files are monstrous enough as it is, you want to make them even more complicated? Why in the hell are you using echomail conference tag names as source data? Thats a mighty big assumption there fella, I feed 2 distinct nodes in NET 132, guess what their ERN isnt published via me, so to apply "Bobby Logic" you would fuck up that nets routing, that net actually has intra-regional route for its ERN. What you gonna do Bobby, if ERN routing info is inaccurate, blame it on HOLYSMOKE or FN_SYSOP??????? I dont even need to go into the NET section, what I showed you above is a comedy of errors, but I do note that NET 105's source data is EVOLUTION. N 18 1:365/ALL 1:365/1 1:18/500 2001O502 FLAME While the above info is correct, he was pulling a few echoes from me and most of his echo in addition to his ERN from 18/500, the above info is pretty recent, I dont see how FLAME could have given you substantial and reliable info. ;============================================================================= ; ; Net Independent Feeds ; What a fucking joke Bobby, we dont route down to the NODE level and ECHOMAIL tags arent reliable source data. Before you go parading around to Foxy to show her what you found, look what I found. I bet a dollar to a doughnut that even Dale Ross finds this monstrosity filled with bloat and unreliable as well as inaccurate source data. He should have proofread it before he hatched it for you. Tell me Bobby, do you route down to the node level, I bet you route something like this: The world --> 379/1 excepting direct linkages you might have == Ross http://www.the-estar.com:8080 ross@the-estar.com or rcassell@home.com ICQ = 5305939 Exclusive Snapshots Of: Our International Coordinator: http://members.home.net/rcassell/ic.htm Our very own Peacock: http://members.home.net/rcassell/peacock.htm ....
