The consensus in R12 is that there should be choices in DH>> distributions, choices in *Cs. We tend to get vocal when other people DH>> try to remove those choices. RC> RC> Also get vocal on the choices other regions make.. RC> RC> Do you deny? The most outspoken R12 sysops have been very vocal about "rights" they perceive should exist for all Fidonet sysops. That generally involves advocating that those sysops should have choices. It's impossible to generalize an R12 attitude about what ought to happen in other regions, but there is no doubt some of us have been highly critical of the coordinators of other regions. The outspoken few are a small minority in R12. By a huge margin, most R12 sysops could not care less about the affairs of their own nets, let alone other nets, and may or may not be aware of the existence of other regions. I've seen R12 sysops ask each other what region they're in. Say, speaking of judging regions by the vocal output of individual members, I noticed that your compatriot Dale Ross recently admitted that he was wrong about an issue and that someone else (by golly, it may have even been me) was right. Do you think that will become a regional trend, or was it just a traitorous random event? --- FTNed v0.23h/Win32 * Origin: Aurora Exploratoria telnet://aurorabbs.dyndns.org (1:229/622) .
