You may have be surprised but basic cost were usually the same but usually the mileage fees was what killed ya in remote locations.. -> If the 4 major players responsible for making Fidonet available via the -> Internet diverted resources away from their ISP business, they had a right to -> charge for said service and you had a right to make use of these services or -> not.
