Cable Modem operator do have commercial services available at least
Road Runner does. Which in this area start at around $145.00 per
month...

Hawaii being the farthest from any landmass on the planet.. We have
to pay a premium on or bandwidth because our feed comes across the ocean
on fiber and they need ships to repair them instead of a guy in a
truck.. Luckily not as often though.

Here are the prices we pay for uncapped/unmetered bandwidth in the
following flavors. Cost has actually went up 2.2% for the last 2 years.

56k Frame $119.00 plus .46c  per mile to the nearest central office.
T-1- 1.544 megabits per second (24 DS0 lines) $828.00/mo.
T-3 - 43.232 megabits per second (28 T1s) $20,400./mo.
