I have to ask Todd, how do you know what their expenses were, surely you didnt

I assure you Todd, I provide a free service as you do, but only because my 
overhead costs on my end would be the same if I hubbed or just pulled in the 
load for myself as a end node. When John, Ken and George started out, there was 
no such thing as cable modems and DSL. Everything cost more then than it does 
now, but a T1 still costs bucks, those that put up T1's were ISP's yes, but if 
they as ISP's were allocating bandwidth away from their business to Fidonet, 
then fair is fair.
