Bob is in the business of charging nets $US20 a month for echomail feeds.

If R17 nets were simply free to go elsewhere and have ROUTELST.R17 updated 
accordingly in any sort of timely fashion, wouldn't that be bad for business?

November 15, 2000. Not even REC17's own site has anything more recent. Yuck!

By contrast, info for our own region's updated weekly, right in the nodelist.

If you were claiming that Bob were personally making a commercial endorsement 
for a product or service that you sell for profit, that would be one thing.

Reference to Bob's credit card numbers or server passwords is also off-limits.

Beyond that, I don't see any restrictions that'd be of interest.

Yup.

If Bob is distributing outdated info and then attempting to hinder efforts by 
others to fix the mess, perhaps the sysops of Region 17 should raise the issue 
with their new RC. The status quo is not in the best interest of that Region.
