What it does do is force every local net fed from him, directly or indirectly, to update their routing info to replace the one path with him as endpoint with multiple paths, all leading through him to different nodes in the matrix. Even if every NEC in our zone could be bothered resubmitting entries every time someone starts playing with the top-level matrix, isn't this only making the list large and unwieldly? If a hub were down or no longer carrying links to multiple matrix hubs, that's one thing... but if these are being removed due to politics?
