Wrong. D'Bridge will catch them just fine, including ones with new MSGID's. And 
if it can't, I can easily write my own extension to the code to do it.

Good for you, but you must understand that I don't run Squish for tossing Fido. 
Squish is only used here to process Usenet mail, which comes direct from my ISP 
and requires a whole different configuration than D'Bridge is capable of doing 
by itself.
 
Again, I've yet to receive any dupes in Fido from my uplink, but that could be 
due to a variety of factors (software being used, configuration, seenby 
processing, etc).

You should never have to do that manually, I'm sure some sort of utility could 
be wrote to fix that problem. Just a silly question, but have you ever 
discussed the problem with your uplinks/downlinks?
