 They were not Ethyl M's.  These are manufactured like any bon-bon
 shaped chocolates, but filled with liquors instead of having the
 usual creamy fillings.

 Ethyl M is named after the mother or grandmother of a retired M&M
 founder who came out of retirement to start this new company.

 From what I've read in Readers Digest about the Hershey-Nestle-M&M
 chocolate feud, Ethyl M has now been absorbed by M&M.
