Subj : Chocolates To : Joe Nicholson From : Liz Gunn Date : Fri Aug 25 2000 04:18 pm Hiya Joe! All behind with my replies, Stu spends so much time on the net that I don't get much time for finger tapping. Have had a rotten sinusy head cold for a week too which doesn't help matters. Still coughing myself silly. Most annoying. JN> They were not Ethyl M's. These are manufactured like any bon-bon JN> shaped chocolates, but filled with liquors instead of having the JN> usual creamy fillings. Oh yummmy! I've never been a huge lover of chocolate, but if it involves liquors, I'm game. JN> Ethyl M is named after the mother or grandmother of a retired M&M JN> founder who came out of retirement to start this new company. JN> From what I've read in Readers Digest about the Hershey-Nestle-M&M JN> chocolate feud, Ethyl M has now been absorbed by M&M. Hmm, interesting. We have M&Ms in NZ also, along with both Pebbles & Smarties. They all look & taste the same to me. Whenever I think of chocolate though, why do I always think of "Willy Wonker And The Chocolate Factory"? I've lost count of how many times my two girls watched that movie when they were kids.
