One cannot justify a dumb distribution system by saying "It doesn't work that 
way".  I'm fully aware that mine was not the only NAB echo distributed by the 
Z1B but the Z1B owed it to those whose echoes they borrowed from the NAB to 
deal with them by NAB rules.

And where was that posted?  Not in the Z1B announcements which I saw on a 
regular basis.

I may now accept the proposition that I will have to carry an additional echo 
to stop Z1B distribution of an echo I moderate but that had not been made 
apparent to me when I encountered my difficulties with the Z1B.  In addition, 
dropping a distribution system through a message to an echo makes no sense for 
a moderator who is a mere user and may not have access to that echo.

I note that I got the echo off everal several netmails but I can't say the 
experience endeared me to the habits of a distribution system which "borrowed" 
echoes when it left the NAB.
