I'm not sure what they consider it to be.  They are heavy into some
other technologies like NNTP.  I get the drift that they'd love to be
able to be rid of the older stuff like Postlink.  Maybe even get rid
of FTN packets.  If I could figure a simple way to import NNTP to my
WC 4.2 (yeah, I know..) BBS, I'd do it in a heartbeat.
