errr... when gating from FTN to FTN, there should be multiple origin lines... 
with each of the top ones being #'d out...

!  # origin: some ftn (777:342/6547)
!  # origin: another ftn (345:666/999)
!  * origin: gated into fidonet (1:3634/12)

the above show that the message originated in "some ftn" using zone 777 and was 
gated then into "another ftn" using zone 345 with 345:666/999 being the gating 
system and then my system gating it from zone 345 into fidonet...

FWIW: everything below the tearline ("--- ") is "throwaway" in a manner of 
speaking... it used to be that bbs' would not display that data to users... 
these days, a proper tearline keeps newsreaders from quoting back sigs when 
following up to an article in a newsgroup...
