I It's not just Rime Todd; the echoes in question are gated between Fido, Intelec, Rime, and I believe Racenet (not sure of the last without looking it up). I'm intimately familiar with the gating software as I wrote it :) The problem occurs whenever a message not posted to a system that directly connects to your system, comes through your system. -The gating software alters the original origin line so the information is still there but the line won't get recognized as an origin line, and a new origin from the gating system will get added. -It strips certain other control lines so that they won't interfer with the distribution on the new network. The gating system adds the necessary new control lines. Your system, and your system only, proceeds to alter the new origin line of the gating system, and append the origin line of your system. It's as though your system were gating the message in a similar manner. As I told you in netmail though, it's not a big deal. Mail is moved and that's what's important. Since it wasn't interfering with that, I can live with it (as Moderator of one of the echoes). I posted this to indicate this particular bit should not be used as fuel for the flame war that is taking place here in the echo.
