It is not listed in BACKBONE.Z1B. I did send a message at shutdown to all backbones. I suspect it was simply missed. USIIA was a one way, from Southern Star, and read only. It was low traffic, four to five posts a month. It would have been easy to miss. > It appears to me that BQ, the Official Fidonet Echo Savior has appointed > himself the Official Fidonet Echo Mortician as well. > "This echo is not dead until *I* say it's dead!" Why, for >Gawd!'s sake did you go to the trouble to relist an echo that had been missing > from the elist for at least 5 months and then request it be removed from >distribution? Why couldn't you have just left it alone? It wasn't yours, it > was dead; leave it dead. What? You say that the NAB was still distributing >it? So what! Are you now in the business of intentionally managing the NAB's > affairs? > I think that this time you've carried your efforts a little too far. Not to throw more stones at Bobby, but had he left it alone, there would have been no issue. The echo was dead. It is unfortunate that the other backbones did not get the message, but these things do happern. Tony --- BBBS/LiI v4.01 Flag-3 * Origin: http://www.TheLitterBox.org (1:109/263) .
