I dont condone Bobby's meddling ways on how he approached this, but he did do things within established practices or precedence. Remember he initially after elisting them this past July tried to get them deleted and was rebuffed, much the same way John Souvestre did so in the Z1B when Bobby had listed an echo and turned around requesting its deletion, so he waited that time and this time. Of the all the echoes Bobby recently did this way, only 5 of them were still in my configs, remember I purged a good deal here myself a couple months back. I myself had been trying to get my NAB peers to try to deal with some of these dead echoes for months, with no success. I realize via voice conversations you raised eyebrows about mail hubs playing censor by killing echoes that could prove as a dis-service to the links, but conversely the links themselves were doing absolutely nothing themselves to bring these echoes up to viability. WE saw occasional messages from you in some of these echoes saying "Anyone here", an occasional response from someone saying "I am here", but nothing further than that to keep traffic going. Otherwards you got responses to your test messages but only for the sake of getting a response to them, the responder didnt do so, saying Oh Goodie, I can talk with Jack about . Its clear that Bobby wasnt happy with the configs of others and probably wouldnt be happy with others being unhappy with his configs, but in the final analysis, he played by the rules. == Ross http://www.the-estar.com:8080 ross@the-estar.com or rcassell@home.com ICQ = 5305939 ....
