Should he sever it and I didnt jeopardize it, mud in his eye. I've pretty much had my say on it. Dale's actions are clearly unjustifiable; I've proven that. Now he wants to attack me personally; and I'll not stand for that. He spins his paranoid little fantasy, brought on by a round of postings in FLAME designed purely to get his gander; and ASSumes it's a real conspiracy. It looks like it worked, but it took him a long time to pop his cork over it. Here he posts: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Then on 5/17/2001 discussion came up about who might have security lax enough to toss any incoming packet that connects with me. You made some suggestion to try. Now this was out in public. No telling what you said/did behind closed doors. I do see where Roy said he sent you FNB. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The anal twit doesn't even realize that Roy and I didn't even exchange one single netmail over this! Ask Roy; he'll tell you it's true. I contacted Roy once in e-mail, to FREQ that file, and made no comments whatsoever to Roy in that e-mail. Even Roy wasn't serious; and if he was, he was still playing a game. I've known Roy for a long time; longer than I've been a Fidonet member, and I know his M.O. He talks big, saying he can do this and that, but he's not dumb enough to actually /do/ those things /himself/, because he knows there's a chance he'll get caught, and if he does there'll be serious consequences. So instead, he plays the game of persuasion and playing one side against the other, because the biggest kick of all that Roy gets is out of simply stirring up shit. He's been doing that exact thing in Z1BACKBONE at present. The ultimate victory for Roy would be if he can find a flunky dumb enough to do what Roy suggests, in effect doing Roy's dirty work for him and taking the fall. Maybe when these messages were being posted in FLAME, Roy thought that I would be dumb enough to be his flunky, but I know him too well and saw through his schtick. I had other motives in playing the game with Roy; I wanted to aquire that program, so I played along with him, saying what he wanted to hear, until he sent me the program. You'll note that after I aquired it and had time to look it over, I made no further postings in that thread. I'd already gotten what I wanted. --- * Origin: MikE'S MaDHousE: WelComE To ThE AsYluM!
