That sort of viewpoint is taken by people who think - right or wrong - they and their way of doing things is perfect and needs no improvement. That kind of mentality would have kept us on horses, steam locomotives and sailing ships. Making the dead echos easier - but not /too/ easy - to remove can't hurt. How many dead ones are there? Shouldn't the dead wood be removed? What about the dead duplicates caused by factional in-fighting, such as AMIGA and AMIGA_INT, AMIGASALE and AMIGA_SALE, just for two examples? (Note: I'm NOT talking about the Z1/NAB split) We can't keep a tree growing without pruning the dead wood; it (sort of) follows that Fido needs the same, and for ythe same reason, IMO. Making it easier for the E-List Keeper and the *Cs to find and kill the dead echos can't be that bad. They don't /have/ to take a suggestion, but thinking about it can't hurt. FF> Doesn't take much before punchees start punching back. For less than a reason, Foxy. Looking at constructive criticism as destructive doesn't make one right, and it makes enemies out of possible friends. That's no way to go through life. Todd Sullivan .... I'd get therapy, but insanity is cheaper. And more fun. --- Spot 1.3b Unregistered * Origin: MODERATOR - AMY_TECH (1:3613/1275.12) .
