Being in an elist and being an active echo on any distribution
system are not always the same, Renato.

FTP_FIDO was one of the echoes John Souvestre got started. After
he left in April, I guess nobody much cared about the echo, aside
from one lone soul who kept up the elisting.

This one was, methinks, one of several that Jim Balcolm started
and kept going. Balcolm left in Jan of this year. Again, looks
like nobody much cared about the echo, but he's still updating
the elist via email...
