AS> We have people on the other side of the AS> fence, who may wish to access newsgroups along with whatever Fidonet AS> only echos they pick up. Who are they? AS> -> In the case of Dales echoes, there is some content going back out AS> of AS> -> Fidonet, minimal but it exists. AS> And we'll take the minimal won't we? You acknowledged he's doing well AS> with it. If Dale can do it so can others. Thats not in dispute. If I am a Internet user, whats gonna attract me to Fidonet if they are offerring that what I can already access? In otherwards if Walmart wants my business, they have to do something or offer something that would take me away from Kmart or vice versa to loosely apply this analogy. AS> -> Go read a newsgroup. AS> I haven't done that? ;-) There are quality and non-quality AS> newsgroups. You find the good ones and go from there. Even those messages Dale brings in, contain alot of one line responses to multiple line quoted text and that nasty bottom quoting, like what you see people do in email replies.. ugh. I just dont want to see Fidonet assimilated. == Ross http://www.the-estar.com ross@the-estar.com or rcassell@home.com ICQ = 5305939 --- GoldED/W32 3.0.1 * Origin: The Eastern Star [Mail Hub] - 864.573.7069 (1:18/500) .
