Sure take OUTLOOK or XNEWS (win32 clients) and point them at any newsserver.

As easy as FTP, HTTP yada yada ad naseum.

Thats not in dispute.

If I am a Internet user, whats gonna attract me to Fidonet if they are 
offerring that what I can already access?

In otherwards if Walmart wants my business, they have to do something or offer 
something that would take me away from Kmart or vice versa to loosely apply 
this analogy.

Even those messages Dale brings in, contain alot of one line responses to 
multiple line quoted text and that nasty bottom quoting, like what you see 
people do in email replies.. ugh.

I just dont want to see Fidonet assimilated.
