 While it's easy to just join a network like Worldnet or Familynet that
 offer some newgroups. I some what hate to be dependant on others as to
 what's available or going thru a hassle to get connected only to later
 drop the network.
 
 Sure it's hard to say any newsgroup is not going to have some spam.
 The content can be very comparable to a good echo. There again finding
 a good newgroup can also be hard to find, creating the bad rap or stigma
 associated with newsgroups.
 
 There again, it never hurts to have as many options available ;=)
