Some questions for you -- for my information: When you see a post in those "echos" that originated on the Internet side, do you see who posted it. Is there any meaningful thing in the TO: field other than TO: ALL? When the people on the other side read your messages do they see who they are from? When you examine the control fields on the message (MSGID, PATH, SEEN-BY) can you tell where the message originated or does it look like it came from Dale Ross' BBS? It is my belief that one prime difference in Fido Echos and Internet newsgroups is the presence of the TO: field.
