For some reason AI> when Xenia exits for an event and runs Transx, Transx can't seem to AI> access the modem. Usually when transx runs I see ATZ OK ATDT etc. on AI> the screen, but under xenia I don't see anything on the screen at LP> I don't know Transx, but two qwestion It's an automated internet dialer that transfers your mail/files via e-mail or FTP. LP> Is portspeed setting the same in Xenia and Transx configs? LP> What EXTAPP method do you use? Yes, I managed to get it working by installing a fossil and telling Transx to use the fossil and it worked! Odd, transx never liked using fossil before.. LP> ; method SPAWN (in case of DOS, Xenia swaps itself to XMS/EMS/disk) LP> ; BATCH (see 'APPERRORLEVEL') LP> ; EXIT (don't create XENAP*.BAT/CMD, just exit with speed/100) LP> ; Under DOS, the speed/100 is passed back modulo 256 I had been using SPAWN under Win95. I'm not very familiar with '95 so I toasted it and am back with OS/2 now. AI> I'm also wondering about where to get Xenia. I'm using AI> v1.99.00 DOS, but when I goto the webpage I only see v1.98SW and some AI> registered only versions. So I wonder where this version I have came AI> from?? Is it legit? LP> Maybe yes. I've heard, the developer of Xenia made freeware his program, LP> but I've never seen a freeware version of it. The DOS and OS/2 versions are on my (very new and uninteresting) page at.. http://trmb.iwarp.com I don't know if they'll be there for long though.. AI> I've also noticed that Xenedit has some Y2k problems. Squish AI> won't pack messages posted by Xenedit saying the date is grunged. Was AI> Xenedit ever updated? LP> I feel never. :( To bad.. it looked very interesting.. Ttyl :-), Al --- Maximus/2 3.01 * Origin: The Rusty MailBox - Vancouver, B.C. Canada (1:153/757) .
