And I was going to write you about that.  Not only can we use a good FOSSIL to 
help us hand the comport from the mailer to the BBS, but we could use a good 
Vmodem implementation.  WinFOSSIL for Windows NT did this, but alas, it's been 
abandoned.

BTW, I'll add what Craig said about dial-up support in Synchronet. :-)
