I went out and Bought Dos 6.22 just so I could run my Tape program and re install My old Disovery BBS and of course ALL those GREAT games I could never do without.... I think it's an age thing even though I'm not that Old but old enough to know what's Good and Bad! Of course we all have to keep up with todays tech stuff But it's so Money driven and stupid and Boring I will keep going back to the Old days hence My Love of the Dos, The Old Car Sceen and More.... All I can truly say is that what's good is good and what's Bad is Bad...You have to be the judge of what turns your crank.... I guess because the new stuff is SO money driven I have given up OR Smartened up amd said enough is enough and slowed down with the NEW Tech stuff and stopped and looked back a bit and seen what fun I have had with these Old BBS's and the Dos stuff. Because me and Roxanne had run a BBS for so many years it's hard for me to loose it, On the other hand Roxanne could care less about her BBS list as it's all gone even though she and I had put so many years into the hobbie and that's just what it was.... BUT Like the Old car sceen things can be brought back......We know this to be true.... I will always love Dos because I grew in Dos, Windows is just to damm easy and boring..... And of course as long as they have your Money....! I will NOT go to the new windows PAST XP until it does something really for me.... I will continue to enjoy the old and a bit of the new and when the Super Duper new windows comes out and I am willing to see the new world I will always have a system to install it into. Until then I have like 10 computers to play with and run what ever I want. Like the last 10 minutes writting this message without a spell checker... I bet I suck in the spelling dep.....But I don't care..... and I'll talk to ya soon...Take care... Dale Spear.... --- Maximus 3.01 * Origin: Basic'ly Computers: Mooo-ing Right Along. (1:153/9) .
