I am the one who said to eliminate the SW plugin, and when the person who posed 
the question replied back as to what might happen if he did this, I replied 
back that there might be "some" websites that he couldnt view or use at all.

By and large many flash enabled web sites do provide a link to view a non-flash 
version or to terminate the presentation.
